- Yes. IP ratings are measured under laboratory conditions with a new device. Over time the seals wear, and water pressure from diving or prolonged submersion can still cause damage. Treat it just as urgently as a device without an IP rating.
- What should I do if my Samsung has gotten wet?
- Turn it off immediately, do not charge it and carefully pat it dry. Do not put it in rice — that does not help. Come in as soon as possible.
- What does the water damage treatment cost?
- The investigation including ultrasonic cleaning costs €49. If parts are needed afterwards, we offset the investigation costs against the total price.
- Can my photos be saved?
